Following Troops Home

if I am going to follow a hammer home to kill it should I plan to arrive at the exact same second that it will arrive back at its home village or should I land 1 second after ?
for example my target gets back to his village at 05:00:00, should I try and hit at that time or at 05:00:01 ?
also how does it work if he uses gold and has the dodge option enabled ?

i think for 5 sec it wont be hard to hit. for auto dodge army should be in village for 10 min. if not dodge wont work.
if the account is not active then 20sec also wont be long.

1 sec is good...
10 sec for auto dodge...

and is not good if you are attacked with fakes... or mixed ...
