How Many Cata's ??? What targets ??

how many cata's do you guys use and what do you target when hitting a 15C capital ?

I would normally target main building & market place with 150 catas on each (300 on double shot) and then the rest on crop fields using 100 catas per field (200 on double shot)

my aim here is to crop lock and stop NPC'ing and slow down rebuilding, if the capital has a high level stone mason do I need more catas ?

maybe I should be targetting warehouse & granaries ?

I'd say you're using enough cata. If you are crop-locking, I would definitely aim at granaries and warehouses. Of course, this requires a lot of cata.

i think if you want to farm on him, don't aim his warehouse as it will only limit your farming.
Destroying granaries, croplands, marketplace and mainbuilding will be good as the player most likely wont send rein to the village because of running at negative crops and no granary means there's only 800 space of crops for storage. His troops will easily eat each other up.

Good numbers on the catas. I would target, in this order granaries [x3], cropfields x15 [so 8 double shots], MB, market, warehouse [x2] and grain mill/bakery, for which 50 catas each should be enough. Mill and bakery can be skipped if you lack enough catas, since the negative crop will be huge regardless. But expect 3 granaries/GWs in a fully-build capitol at least.

You can't target stonemason.

The point is ,not to spare catapults on anything else, first catapult the crop fields. When this is done, click on your town hall as you have much to celebrate:) Comparing losing crop field and losin warehouse is uncompareable:)

I always use 80 per level 20 building without stone mason.

However, due to waves leaving in the wrong order I usually put my waves into Notepad first including targets. I've started adding +1 cata to each previous wave so I can decide if I need to recall all waves or just send without the 1 or 2 landing before cleaner.

e.g.

Cropland x 2 = 100
Cropland x 2 = 101
Cropland x 2 = 102

So none of my waves have the same amount. This way I know what I'm hitting.
